This morning's training ride was a multi-tasking ride. Part way through the ride I joined a zoom meeting for a local BNI chapter and did some networking while mountain biking! I've never visited a BNI chapter while mountain biking before. It was a fun experience. I really recommend visiting BNI while mountain biking!
Today it seems even after 1 day of doing the prescribed stretches that my leg is feeling slightly better! I'm hopeful that by next week maybe I can run a little. In the meantime I will continue my biking as training and also strength training.
It's been 11 days without running and I am feeling like I am falling behind on my training. I'm itching to get back to running and fearful that I won't be prepared enough for this upcoming challenge. I just have to complete this challenge. I've put it out there to so many people and I can't let the kids down. It's not in me to quit. Will I be hobbling across the trail? I sure hope not.
